Ok, I'm a BB fan and I would never buy an iPhone. Having said that I want this application sooo badly!

It has been developped by French record label Record Makers due to their 10th Anniversary. This label represents artists like Sebastien Tellier, Acid Wash, I love UFO and Sex In Dallas. The application consists of a series of drawings that are divided in 3 sections and can be matched with one finger. Drawings are made by renown artists Mrzyk & Moriceau, here are some examples of their work:

They're Parisian and were first called Poney Poney and created a LP called When Do You Wanna Stop Working?. This band was good. Now they've signed with Ed Banger Records and have changed their name to Jamaica. This band is cool. Here is their first single, produced by Xavier de Rosnay from Justice.

When is summer coming back!??

I can't stop listening to The Drums, a NY based band, it's not even because I think their music is amazing, it's just I love how they descibed it:

"We only write about two feelings: one is the first day of summer when you and all of your friends are standing on the edge of a cliff watching the sun set and being overcome with all of your hopes and dreams at once. The other is when you're walking alone in the rain and realize you will be alone forever"

They manage to bring summer into music. They're like the Beach Boys, when you listen to one of their songs you can't help but daydream of the heat of the sun and the bright white sand...

I'm aware of the fact that a lot of people don't like them but, I've started to have a warm place in my heart for them.

Titus & Crush

FINALLY I decided to buy the album by Titus & Crush from the iTunes. I've been looking for it for AGES and only just thought about looking in iTunes, I guess I just had a bimbo moment.

So, the reason why I wanted to find them is because they have this new really cool idea. Basically what they do is they get their lyrics from vintage porn movies from the '70s and add the music to it. Here's an example:

Iceland '09

I went to Iceland back in October, so yes, this is a bit late. Anyway, if you haven't been there yet I truly recomend that you go, it is one of the most amazing places I have ever been to! Not only for the landscapes but also for the people.

Brynja, was the best guide, night and day! Thanks sooo much!

Watch Out For: Passion Pit

They are a new group from Cambridge, Massachusers, and whose first album, Chunk of Change, threatens to become the new HIT in all those clubs that are worth going to, and the beggining of what I belienve will be an innovative and interesting career. In this album, Michael, Ian, Ayad, Jeff and Nate include 80's sounds yet they mix them with new rave sounds in a way that just makes you want to stay home with their album and spend an evening of "tired-dancing" (those who know me will understand what it means). They are my latest obsession, therefore, they should be yours too. Listen to sleepyhead especially. Simply spectacular.
